East Cape is the eastern most point of the PNG mainland and about 50km east of the township of Alotau in Milne Bay. It's the departure and arrival point for a large majority of the small inter-island banana boats that ferry passengers and cargo between the remote islands of Milne Bay.

Yabam Island is small island, with only a couple of families living in harmony with the island and it's surrounding reefs. The Wild PNG Backpackers, is absolute beach front and you can snorkel directly off the beach. There can never be a crowd here!
